Esterer Gießerei - Technical model builder

As a technical model builder you will produce models after which foundry products, car body panels or plastic housings for piece or serial production are made.

Normally, technical drawings are used as templates. The making of prototypes is mostly made via computer-aided processes.

While we at Esterer Giesserei offer you a training in the speciality „foundry“, the job is also taught with the specialities „view“ and „car body and production“.

Till the end of the second apprenticeship year the curriculum for the apprentices of all specialities is identical. In the third apprenticeship year the apprentices gain profound knowledge in the chosen speciality.

During their training at the foundry Esterer Giesserei the apprentices gain the following competences:

• Machine operation, facility and equipment operation

• Moulding
• Treatment and finishing of surfaces
